Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jerry Lane of Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away at the age of 80, on January 7, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lane and Grace Lane; his brothers, Harry, Bill and Henry Lane; and his siblings-in-law, Johnny Tabor, John Maroney, Ann Lane and Joyce Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Lucie Cole Lane of Columbus; his daughters, Virginia Hèbert (Curt), Julie Harrell (Kevin) and Tiffany Moore; his grandchildren, Lane Hèbert Bielstein, Ashley Hèbert, Dyllan Moore, Kelsee Moore, Kayla Harrell, Cole Harrell and Trey Hèbert; his great grandchildren, Emery, Rylan, Banks, Ava and Rivers; and his grandchildren, Tabor, Joann Maroney, Carl Lane (Barbara), Martha Matthews (Bill) and Lucretia Lane. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Calendar Covenant Presbyterian Church (515 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
