He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Chain (Olene) and Nettie Mae Bolling Swink; his brother Mike Chain; and his stepbrother Billy Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Stewart Chain of Columbus, MS; his children, Mark Chain (Debra) of Columbus, MS, Jerimiah Hartzell of Columbus, MS, Linda Ott (Allan) of Ethelsville, AL and Robbie Swink (Johnny) of Reform, AL; his brother Anthony Chain of Columbus, MS; his grandchildren, Brooks Swink, Cody Swink, Anna Shaw (Walker), Victoria Chain, Alexandra Chain, Amiee Price, Allison Barksdale (Bubba), Aaron Ott (Kierra) and Austin Ott; his great grandchildren, Baylee, Krystin, Brody, Ella, Remi, Raylee, Ryder, Abigail, Hunter, Tynley and Gentry; and his great great grandchild Brody James.
