He was predeceased by: his father Y. Z. Cantrell; his wife Wanda Jean Cantrell; and his brother John Allen Cantrell. He is survived by: his mother Helen Cantrell; his children, Patty Cantrell and Jamie Cantrell (Pam); his stepdaughter Jennifer Markham; his sisters, Brenda Trimm and Barbara Jackson; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Jason, Chris, Ozzy, Brayan, Ana, Nicolas and Aaron. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lowndes Funeral Home and Crematory (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702).
