It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Inez Townsend of Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Minton and Thelma Hargon Minton; and her son Steve Townsend. She is survived by: her sons, Phillip Townsend (Becky) of Tupelo, MS and Craig Townsend (Denise) of Kingwood, TX. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
