Howard Allen Jenkins Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Allen Jenkins of Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on March 5, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank W. Jenkins and Tommie Ellington Jenkins; and his siblings, Nina Vivian Carson, James David Jenkins and Frances Lacey Temple.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Morris Jenkins of Columbus, MS; and his sons, Allen Jenkins (Donna) of Columbus, MS, Kenny Jenkins (Fran) of Garland, TX, Steve Jenkins (Leann) of Columbus, MS and Chris Jenkins (Dana) of Columbus, MS.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church (1736 Beersheba Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Howard to either Columbus East Lions Club or Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Columbus, MS.
