It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazel Ruby Forrester (Columbus, Mississippi), who passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Hazel Ruby shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Hazel Ruby farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Donald Ray Forrester; her son Darrell Forrester; her mother Juanita Taylor; and her brother Russell Taylor. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Annunciation Catholic Church (808 College St, Columbus, MS 39701). A Mass was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
