He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Margaret Helen Keasler Hicks; his brother Robert Earl Hicks; and also Emerynn Brielle Sherrod. He is survived by: his wife Kristie Swails Hicks of Andrews, SC; his stepchildren, Luke Swails of Andrews, SC and Josie Lockhart (Gunner) of Bowling Green, KY; his sisters, Judith Ann Jaynes of Florence, AL and Wanda Hamby of Columbus, MS; his nieces, Kristie Baucom, Brandi Strickland (Marty) and Heather Salinas (Juan); and his nephew Bryan Jaynes (Tracy). He is also survived by great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
