She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford L. Orr Sr. and Sallie Mae Orr; her grandparents, Thomas Martin Sr. and Mariah Martin; her sisters, Sally Harris and Mildred Weathersby; and her son Michael Derrick Ellis.
She is survived by: her husband Aaron Mitchell; her children, Kym Mitchell and Andrew Mitchell; her siblings, Sanford L. Orr Jr. (Linda) of Hattiesburg, MS, Earnestine Orr and Annie McNeely (Wayne) of Columbus, MS; her daughter-in-law Kennedra Ellis of Columbus, MS; her grandchildren, Da'Kameron Mitchell, Kelvin Mitchell, Malcolm Ellis and McKenzie Ellis; and her great grandchild Harmonii Nicole Jackson of Columbus, MS. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and other relatives and friends.
