It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Wilson Davenport of Columbus, Mississippi, born in Aberdeen, Mississippi, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Davenport and Rena Seago Davenport. He is survived by: his wife Elaine K. Davenport; and his daughters, Catherine Davenport of Columbus, MS, Diane Wall (Frank) of Columbus, MS and Lynn Harrison (Ron) of Cleveland, TN.. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren, special friends, and extra helpful nurses.
