The memory of Buster Beneke Jr. (Columbus, Mississippi), who passed away on November 22, 2024 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Uihlein Beneke Sr. and Daphne Lane Beneke; his sister Wendy Beneke Edmundson; and his nephew Dr. Joseph Berry Kelly. He is survived by: his daughters, Tory, Victoria Beneke McClure and Bishop Beneke Chavers; his grandchildren, Reagan Kimbrough Chavers and George Reid Chavers; his former wife Lynda Marye Kimbrough; his siblings, Daphne Lane Beneke, Barbara Beneke Shoop, Jennifer Lane Beneke and Richard Uihlein Beneke Sr.; his siblings-in-law, Jill Moeller Beneke, Dr. Richard Hunter Shoop Sr. and Adam Mekler; his grandson Reid Chavers; and his nephews, Edwin Edmundson, Ian Edmundson, Jay Jessen, Dane Jessen, Hunter Shoop, Carter Shoop, Taylor Shoop, Sonny Beneke, Drake Beneke and Charles Beneke. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, 25 grand nieces and nephews and many life long friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (318 College St, Columbus, MS 39701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM.
