Beth Carley Sims Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beth Carley Sims (Columbus, Mississippi), who passed away on January 28, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Talmadge Carley and Ruth Wilder Carley; her husband John Franklin Shields Sims; and her son John Franklin Shields Sims Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, LaBet Sims Pritchard of Knoxville, TN, Carley Sims Page (Tommy) of Starkville, MS and DeMaris Sims of Boulder, MT; her grandchildren, Kate Pritchard, Ivy Pritchard, Barrett Page (Julie), Thomas Page (Jessi), Sims Page, John Shields Sims III (Jenny), Spencer Sims and Evan Sims; and her great grandchildren, Kylie Page, Jackson Page, Palmer Horn and John Franklin Shields Sims IV.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar First Methodist Church (602 Main St, Columbus, MS 39701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
