He is survived by: his wife Betty Speights of Columbia; his children, Greg Speights (Kerri) of Dallas, Texas and Tonya Speights of Columbia; his sisters, Helen Crout of Columbia and Muriel McCain of Columbia; his grandchildren, Tyler Speights of Dallas, Brandon Speights of Dallas, Stephen James Tolar of Columbia and Brooke Speights of Dallas, Texas; and his brother-in-law James Bryant of Columbia.
