He was predeceased by: his sons, Robert "Bob" Johnson, Jr. and Johnny Joe Johnson; and his parents, Robert "Bob" Johnson and Flora Crawford Lazarus. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Blackwell Johnson; his children, James "Jimmy" Johnson (Kem) and Kathy Johnson Stringer (John); and his grandchildren, Jennifer McClendon, Scott Johnson, Paige Smith, Robert "Trey" Johnson, III, Heather Bailey and Evan Stringer. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends.
