We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2021, at the age of 90, Nell Parker Barnes of Columbia, Mississippi, born in Lawrence, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Parker and Madge Parker; and her husband Randolph Lee Barnes. She is survived by: her children, Beverly Mikell (Glenn), Midge Barnes (Jon Mossholder) and Lee Barnes (Kim); her siblings, Clara Higginbotham and James Parker (Merle); her granddaughter Natalie Jackson; her great grandchildren, Layton Jackson and Jada Jackson; and also, Tripp Jackson, Rand Mikell, Parker Barnes, Sheffield Barnes, Savannah Barnes and Eliza Barnes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
