Mary Annette Rawls Thompson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Annette Rawls Thompson (Columbia, Mississippi), who passed away on July 23, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William Burl Thompson; her close friend Robert Harold Geiger; her siblings, Mattie Smyly, Ruby Price, J. W. Rawls, Charles Rawls, John Rawls and Giles Rawls; and her grandchildren, Keylee Jones and Lynlei Stampley.

She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Haygood (Gary) and Bill Thompson; her sister Lillian Thomae; her grandchildren, Ashley Boone, April Stampley, Shelbi Stovall and Spencer Stovall; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Gavin, Kinsley and Brody.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials in her name to First United Methodist Church in Columbia.
