He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Holmes Sr. and Mary "Ferne" Holmes; and his brother John "Johnny" Wesley. He is survived by: his sister Linda Cox; his wife Regina Holmes; his sons, Matthew Holmes (Jessica), Jasen Pruitt (Sam) and Carey Pruitt; his granddaughters, Kinsley Mariee Holmes, Natalie Faith Pruitt and Delilah Faith Holmes; and his siblings, Harold Holmes (Lynn), Butch Holmes and Daisy McKenzie. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
