She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Eugene Moody; her parents, Ernest Piercy and Yuba Runnels Piercy; and her sister Marilyn Swilley. She is survived by: her children, Matthew Moody (Ann) of Columbia, MS, Mark Moody (Lela) of Columbia, MS, Rebecca Peak (Billy) of Jayess, MS and Sarah Claburn (Kevin) of Eminence, MO; and her siblings, Steve Piercy of Purvis, MS, Randy Piercy (Billie) of Hattiesburg, MS, Craig Piercy of Purvis, MS, Jeremy Piercy of Hattiesburg, MS and Tammy Guyton (Paul) of Purvis, MS. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
