She was predeceased by: her husband Herman McDaniel, Sr.; her children, Julie, Hilda, Ronnie McDaniel, Milton McDaniel and Herman McDaniel, Jr.; her parents, Troy Welborn and Julia Welborn; her brother Johnny Welborn; and her grandson Michael McDaniel.

She is survived by: her son Donnie McDaniel (Deborah) of Columbia; and her grandchildren, April McDaniel, Faith McDaniel, Heidi Whitaker, David McDaniel, Hollie Alexander, Mary Giroux, Amy McCain, Jessica McDaniel, Thomas R. McDaniel, Robbie McDaniel and Allison McDaniel. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; and 11 great great-grandchildren.
