He was predeceased by: his siblings, June Jones, Rodney Hendon and Donald Hendon; and his son Daniel Hendon. He is survived by: his children, Amber Ramshur and Shane Hendon (Becky); his sisters, Virginia Hendon, Judy Sullivan (Morris) and Deborah Hendon; and his grandchildren, Bailey Pittman (Dyan), Dallas Hendon, Avery Hendon, Grayson Hendon, Kayden Stewart, Kaleb Stewart, Kloe Stewart, Kobe Stewart and Ethan Canales. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
