He is survived by: his wife Charlsie Broom; his children, Theresa Stringer and Jerry Broom (Robin); his brother John Broom; and his grandchildren, Stephanie McCormick (Scott), Jason Stringer (Kim), Steven Stringer (Tanna), Chris Broom (Haley) and D'Anna McMahan (Will). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
