He was predeceased by: his wife Margie Moorhead Rayburn; his parents, John S. Rayburn and Ruth C. Rayburn; his children, Larry Glynn Rayburn and Shawna Donielle Rayburn; and his sister Marilyn Janice Summersville.

He is survived by: his children, Gregory Don Rayburn (Linda) of Columbia, MS, Dwayne Marshall Rayburn (Monica) of Broussard, LA, Gayla Moorhead Dees (Robert) of Houston, TX and Bobby Moorhead (Laurie) of Collierville, TN; and his grandchildren, Damon Rayburn (Chris), Christina Rayburn Ramey (Scott), Crystal Daigle, Dustan Daigle (Amanda), McKenzie Boutte (Tavin), Grace Dees of Houston, TX, Carly Dees, Moorhead III (Jess) of Memphis, TN, Kyle Moorhead (Alex), Marlie Moorhead Rice (Zack) and Luci Moorhead of Collierville, TN. He is also survived by Great Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews.

“I am sorry to just learn of Donald’s passing.. In the early 60’s, I worked for Donald and his father at Rayburn Well Service. Donald also showed me how to use scuba gear in the Bayou Lafourche so I could work underneath a tugboat. Later in life I returned the favor when Donald worked for me as a mud engineer. Donald was an interesting character and I enjoyed his company. Bobby Decker, Lockport”
