He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Grotefend (David), Jay Broom (Elaine) and Steve Broom; his brother Larkin Broom; his grandchildren, Lisa Grotefend-Gilstrap (Brad), Vicki Grotefend McKee, Carol Holloway (Aaron), Lawrence Broom (Darlene), Fernann Yosviak and Steve Allen Broom (Christine); and his great grandchildren, Zachary Wilkinson, Zoe Grotefend, Lanee McKee, Gracee McKee, Arica Holloway, Collin Holloway, Christian Holloway, Emory Holloway, Lauren Broom, Heidi Broom, Jackson Broom, Luke Broom, Emma Rae Broom, Isaac Yosviak and Xander Yosviak. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
