He was predeceased by: his parents, Lamar Dale and Sylvenia Dale; and his sister Betty Dedeaux. He is survived by: his wife Emma Dale; his children, Glenn Dale and Renee Stampley (Rob); his sisters, LaDonis Good and Lamara Ladner; and his grandchildren, Kris Stampley (Alicia) and Ryan Stampley.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Enon Baptist Church Building Fund.
