She was predeceased by: her husband Vennis Kendrick; her children, Dwight Maxwell Kendrick, Kathi Stinnett and Nelia Batson; and her parents, Vester Maxwell and Etta Grimsley Maxwell.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Thornhill (Vance), Shelia Sumrall Thornhill and Dwain Kendrick. She is also survived by her siblings; and survived by 11 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Columbia Followed Funeral Services (385 Columbia Purvis Rd, Columbia, MS 39429).
