He is survived by: his wife Vera Boyd; his children, Jimmy Boyd, Jr. (Shirley) and Vicky Young (Clyde); his siblings, Charlene Gibson, Mary "Mag" Phillips, Helen Alexander, Alma Boyd, Voncille Williams, Gracie Herring (Robert), Annie Reid (Wayne) and Rocky Lane Boyd, Sr. (Barbara); his grandchildren, Casey Boyd, Tina Hamilton (David), Wesley Young and Daniel Young; and his great grandchild Chesney June Hamilton.
