He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Lee and Octavia Allen Sr.; his child Vertie Mae Allen; and his siblings, Robert Lee Allen, Viannia Lenore, Henry James Allen Sr., Rex, Willie Robert Allen Sr., Charles Allen Sr. and Michaela Silas.
He is survived by: his son Joey Allen (Portia); his sister Rose Mary Allen; his sisters-in-law, Bessie Lee Allen, Glenda Allen and Josie Allen; and his close friend Claudine. He is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
