She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Lowe; her parents, Henry Wells and Etta Boone Wells; and her siblings, Ester Holmes and Sonny Wells.

She is survived by: her children, Wanda Creel (Brian) of Bogalusa, LA, Peggy Lowe of Poplarville, MS, Joe Lowe (Regina) of Columbia and David Lowe (Macy) of Bogalusa; and her siblings, Linda Helveston of Columbia, James Well (Rebecca) of Columbia and Billy Wells of Columbia. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
