She was predeceased by: her parents, Etta Mae Rogers Thaxton and Clarence Elbert Thaxton; her husband Harolyn Lindy Conerly; her close friend Hugh Lokey; and her sister Mildred Pittman.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Longo (Tom) of Columbia; her granddaughters, Jennifer Sims (Randall) of Columbus, Mamie Longo and Molly Longo of Hattiesburg; and her great grandchildren, Ella Margaret Sims of Columbus, Mississippi, Emma Grace Sims of Columbus, Mississippi and Levi Sims of Columbus, Mississippi.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church's building fund.
