She was predeceased by: her parents, John Saulters and Ollie Saulters; her son Mark Smith; her sister Laura Singley; and her granddaughter Alexandra Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Smith of Ocean Springs, Ellen Emile (Billy) of Ocean Springs, Laura Stogner of Columbia, Charlotte Tanksley of Ocean Springs and Michelle Smith of Columbia; and her grandson Joshua Thomas (Tena) of Foxworth. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
