He is survived by: his wife Vicki Newsome of Columbia; and his children, Lacy M. Cahanin of Columbia, Stephanie Haddox of Charleston, WV and Jeremiah B. Newsome of Littleton, CO. He is also survived by four siblings; and six grandchildren.
