He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Bowman and Anna Bowman Bryant; and his sister Guynell Speights. He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Bowman of Columbia; and his daughters, Beverly Cupit of Columbia, Jean McDaniel (Perry) of Sumrall and Myra Hayes (Henry) of Columbia. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
