He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew May and Erma May; his sons, Ivy Lynn Thomas and Darrell Raymond Thomas; and his sister Lennell Holloway.
He is survived by: his daughter Trina Thomas; his grandson Ivy Lynn Thomas Jr.; his siblings, Eva Lofton, Glenda May-Thomas, Sherry May, Charles May and Melvin May; and his nieces and nephews, Myeshia May, Chelsea May, Juan May and Allen May. He is also survived by aunts, cousins, and friends.
