He is survived by: his wife Jeanette H. Dickens of Columbia; his son Reid Ware (Beth) of Florence, AL; and his sisters, Ona Mae McNair of Collins, Louise Smith of Collins and Minnie King (James) of Collins. He is also survived by five Grandchildren and four Great-Grandchildren.
