It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon A. Sandifer of Columbia, Mississippi, born in Tylertown, Mississippi, who passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray and Hazel. He is survived by: his wife Marie Reid Sandifer; his children, Todd Sandifer (Joy), Kelley Lucy (Brent) and Mechelle Barnes; his grandchildren, Vivian Sandifer, Elena Sandifer, Garrison Lucy, Hannah Marie Lucy, Raeleigh Lucy and Arleigh Sandifer; and his sister Doris Ervin.
