He is survived by: his parents, Mernice Dean Griner and Patricia Ann Stuckey Griner; his children, Brant Dean Griner (Renee), Katie Nichole Griner and Chaz Lee; his siblings, Michael Dean Griner (Janie), Kenneth Edward Griner (Glenda) and Rebecca Diane McFadden (Jonathan); and his grandchildren, Carson Griner, McKenzie Griner and Layton Griner.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (1409 Hwy 98 E, Columbia, MS 39429).
