He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Jack Luther and Daisey Evelyn Wade Luther; and his siblings, Jerry Luther, Patricia Ball, Jean Couch and Paula Luther.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Luther; his daughter Virginia Lynn Deer (Greg); his brother Daniel Luther; his grandchildren, Kayla Lopez (Adam) and James Nickolas Deer; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Cater Peak and Cali Grace Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
