Dorah Belle Holmes Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2021, at the age of 86, Dorah Belle Holmes (Columbia, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Holmes; her parents, Willie Lewis and Fonnie Thrash Lewis; and her siblings, Nell Rushing (Huey), Henry Lewis (Bea) and James Lewis.

She is survived by: her children, Jackie Dillon (Dudley) of Tylertown, MS and Tillman Holmes (Pam) of Kokomo, MS; her sister Dianne Craine (Ralph); her grandchildren, Jeremy Dillon of Hattiesburg, MS, Wes Dillon (Lindsay), Dr. Cassie Burns (Trey), Amy Herrin (Neil) and Ashley Holmes (Brittany) of Hattiesburg; her great grandchildren, Bryce Dillon, Leah Dillon, Wyatt Dillon, Ethan Burns, Caleb Herrin, Lauryn Herrin, Caden Turnage, Roren Holmes and Landrie Holmes; and her sister-in-law Mary Lewis.
