With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dell Patterson of Columbia, Mississippi, born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on March 4, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Angel D. Godwin and Margaret Merritt Godwin; her brothers, Dellwood "Sonny" Godwin, Jr. and W. "Shorty" Godwin; and her grandson Patrick Davis.

She is survived by: her children, Anita Davis of Columbia, Amanda Patterson of Columbia and Britt Patterson (Michelle) of Picayune, MS; and her sister Tommye Corley of Indiana. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
