He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sue "Susie" Bates Fox; his children, William Heath Fox (Dawn) and Ashley Hoots; his stepson Brian Blalock; his grandchildren, Lillie Fox and Hallie Fox; his sisters, Marshia Pigg (Barry) and Judy Vining; and his siblings-in-law, Jeff Bates (Melissa), Jack Bates (Beth), Billy Bates, Sr., Mikey Bates (Crystal), John Bates, Belinda Brady (Adam) and Jenny Hibley (James). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and friends.
