He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Owens and Nina Owens; his sister Freddie Brooks; and his granddaughters, Lorrie Lynn Owens and Amber Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Jewel Owens of Foxworth; and his sons, Pat L. Owens (Terri) of Foxworth, Kenneth Owens (Lynn) of Foxworth and Charles L. Owens, Jr. (Marcia) of Columbia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
