It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Dennis Head Sr. of Columbia, Mississippi, born in Poplarville, Mississippi, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter LaRita Joyce Brumfield; his parents, William Lampton Head and Sylvester Warden Head; and his siblings, Dixie Lucille Head, Christine Head Smith, Thomas Sollie Head and Morgan Lampton Head.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Head of Columbia; his children, Tracey Lynn McBride (Ricky) of Picayune, MS, Shannon Marie Head Duncan (David) of Columbia, Melissa Jane Rasp (Jason) of Loxley, AL, Pamela Renee Alford (Michael) of Columbia, Tina Marie Hedgepeth (James) of Columbia, Charles Dennis Head, Jr. (Sherry) of Oak Vale, MS, Oliver William Ray Hudson of Georgia and Alton LeeRoy Hudson (Ashley) of Columbia; and his sister Vivian Cook (Leon) of LaCombe, LA. He is also survived by grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
