He is survived by: his wife Margaret Brasseal Dyess of Columbia; his son Dale Dyess of Prentiss, MS; and his siblings, Mary Sue Dyess and Kenneth Dyess (Becky) of Gulfport, MS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
