She is survived by: her children, Tabitha Hughey (Allen), Samantha Anderson (Carl), Lawanda Cupit, Doris Hodges (Alan) and Danny Dixon (Christie); and her siblings, Helen Patterson (Leroy), Sylvia Martin (James), Linda Whitehead (Bobby), John McDermit (Mary Kay), Stanley McDermit (Martha) and Tony McDermit (Kathy). She is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
