She was predeceased by: her husband James Lowery; her parents, Columbus Sanford and Bessie Sanford; her siblings, George Sanford, C. C. Sanford, Balzie Cavanaugh and Christine Gipson; and her grandson Justin Lowery.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Julstead of Columbia, Sandy Sartin (Marty) of Columbia, Monica Lowery, Ricky Lowery of Columbia and Jeff Lowery (Charlotte) of Columbia; her siblings, Johnny Sanford (Katherine) of Columbia, Nathan Sanford (Joyce) of California and Patsy Broom (Nathan) of Columbia; her sister-in-law Sylvia Sanford of Columbia; her grandchildren, Dae'Shawn Lowery, Erik Sartin (Ariel), Erica Silas (Andre), Daphne Russell and Jessica Lowery; and her great grandchildren, Vivian Sartin, Cash Silas, Kelvin Silas, Karlie Jefferson, Christon Lowery, Micah Igleharte, Kayla Igleharte, Charlie Igleharte, Justin Lowery, Jr., Taylor Russell, Miguel Lewis and Rayven Owens. She is also survived by Nieces, Nephews.
