She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Cooper and Myrtis Cooper Pittman; her grandson Jordy Pierce; and her children, Myrtis Cooper PittmanMother, Angela Pope ReidDaughter and Jordy PierceGrandson.

She is survived by: her husband James E. "Nun" Pope; her daughter Ginger Pope Pierce (Glynn); her son-in-law John Reid; her grandchildren, Brittany Reid, Nicholas Reid (Blair) and Grant Pierce (Tara); her great grandchildren, Cooper Reid, Noah Reid, Caleb Reid, Hannah Reid, Jaelynn Sandifer, Rhylie Sandifer, Corbin Pierce, Oliver Pierce and Anslee Pierce; her cousin Sadie Rayborn (Pope); her son James E. "Nun" PopeHusband; and her grandson Gannon Pierce (Stephanie).
