He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Bennett and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Bennett; his son Anthony F. Bennett; and his siblings, Oliver, Allen, Arthur, Ervin Bennett, Sarah Broome, Mary Bennett, Lucille Broome and Lavada Buchanan.
He is survived by: his daughter Pam Ball of Columbia; his granddaughter Kimberly Ball of Columbia; his great grandchild Landon McNabb of Columbia; his sister Eva Lois Branton of Collins; and his former wife Sonya Bennett of Columbia.
