She was predeceased by: her husband Shelby Davis; her parents, Perdee Penton and Mary Penton; her children, Alan Davis and Mary Alice Johnson; her grandson Wesley T; and her siblings, Jimmy Penton, Jewel Penton, Vinson Penton, Lou Meyers, Bobbie Bragg, Jerry Wright, Dorothy Phillips and Johnnie Lee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Nicholson (Bennie) of Columbia and Martha Davis of Columbia; her siblings, Huey Penton (Elaine) and Evon Castaing of Gulfport; her grandchildren, Jeremy Reid, Trent Reid (Felicia) and Anita Dawn Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Creel, Wade Creel, Brannon Johnson, Trinity Reid, Hunter Reid and Dalton Reid.
