He is survived by: his spouse Janie Merle White Poole; his children, Vernon Clayton "Clay" Poole, Jr. (Janet), John Mark Poole (Robbie), Benjamin Dane Poole (Tina) and Trudy Veonne Howell (Tim); his grandchildren, Ben Poole (Cindy), Andy Poole (Carrie), Shane Poole, Justin Poole, Josh Poole, Jacob Poole, Jaret Poole, Jessica Smith (Roger), Kyra Jane Howell and Maria Noelle Howell; his great grandchildren, Theo Smith and Lewis Smith; and his sisters, Geraldine Davis and Maxine Sharp (Kenard). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
