With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Lee Mixon of Collinsville, Mississippi, who passed away on April 30, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. M. Vincent and Maurine Vincent; her husband J. W. Mixon; her son David Mixon; her granddaughter Kelli Morgan McNeil; her sisters, Sue Mosley, Pat Kotouc, Rena and Scarbrough; and her son-in-law Charles Kernop.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cherryl Kernop and Gaye Morgan (Dennis); her grandchildren, Pam Herrington, Paula Richards, Dave Morgan, Jason Brown and Beau Mixon; her siblings, Elaine Gunn, Jeffrey Lynn Mayatt and C. M. "Sonny" Vincent, Jr.; and her nephews, Andy Mosley, Jamey Mosley, Kevin Gunn, Mel Mayatt, Tyler Rainer and Tanner Rainer. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
