He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Ellen Howell; and his parents, John Wilbur and Harriett Margaret Crawford Howell. He is survived by: his sons, John Howell (Trish), Dr. Greg Howell (Anderson) and Tim Howell (Veonne); and his brother David Howell (Carolyn). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
